WPC: Structure

Following some strong winds in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago, Chief was removing a large palm frond from the swimming pool when he noticed a little gecko floating on it. The little gecko scurried off when Chief tried to remove him and he ended up on the glass panels surrounding the pool. This gave me a wonderful opportunity to rush indoors to grab my camera and give my new macro lens a try.

I was amazed at the beautiful structure of the gecko’s foot, the minute scales and nails, that we don’t see with the naked eye – mother nature is a beautiful thing!

  1. Fantastic photos Lucy, and great for this weeks theme – most people take photos of lizards from above, it’s fascinating to see geckos feet scales from below 🙂
